Dennis was one of the "good guys" , one of only a few on a troubled department. His personal and work ethics were beyond reproach. Off the job if you bumped into him he was a great guy. My sympathies go out to his family, he truly was a special guy, someone who could be trusted and worthy of respect, and he wasn't afraid to rock the boat when needed. They don't make them like that anymore.

Always knew how to light up a room even without trying. He was gentle and loving, yet honest and knew how to voice his opinion. He loved this family very much, and though didn't always tell you, his smile and kind tone in his voice said more than that. Rest in the sweetest of peace, you're forever loved by many down here.
