Obituary

Antoinette C. (DiMarzio) Langner our beloved mother passed away on April 22, 2019 after a brief illness.

Antoinette was born on December 4, 1930 in Worcester, MA to the late Mary A. (Latino) and Achille DiMarzio. She was predeceased by her husband Richard Langner and her siblings; Michael, Lillian, Albert, Achille Jr., and Marion.

Antoinette studied at trade school and worked as a seamstress. Through her love of square dancing she traveled to Boston to a YMCA dance where she met her loving husband Richard Langner in 1962. They quickly knew they were meant for each other. After marrying in 1963 they settled in Wakefield and had two daughters Maryann and Linda. As a home maker she participated in many of her girl's activities including being a girl scout leader. As years went by she became the Nanny of Scott, Jeffery and Stephen Thompson. They became part of her family. Antoinette was a long time member of the St. Florence Church and the Ladies of Sodality. She enjoyed going to the dances with her many friends she met along the way. Antoinette was a loving and caring woman with beautiful blue eye and a smile to light up a room.

She is survived by her daughters; Maryann Henderson and her husband Jay and Linda Langner, her grandchildren; Allison Henderson and her partner Matthew Peterson, Joseph Henderson and Peter Henderson. Her great granddaughter Madison Peterson called her GiGi. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their children.

Her Funeral will be held from the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Thursday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Florence Church, 47 Butler Ave., Wakefield at 10am. Visitation for relatives and friends will be held at the Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5-8pm.
