Carmine P. DeGuglielmo, 92, of Danvers, beloved husband for 56 years of the late Dora (Vietri) DeGuglielmo, died peacefully on Friday, January 12 surrounded by his loving family.

He is survived by his children Stephen DeGuglielmo and wife Meredith of Danvers, Carol Bratt and husband Steven of Lynnfield, Joseph DeGuglielmo and wife Janet of Wakefield, Paul DeGuglielmo and wife Catherine of Stoneham, Elaine Sullivan and husband Mark of Reading, and Diane Naczas and husband Michael of Reading. He is survived by his brother Joseph Williams of Revere, and was the brother of the late Lucy Cifuni, Victor DeGuglielmo, and Jennie "Chickie" Carbone. Also survived by twelve grandchildren and one great grandchild. In recent years he was a loving and devoted companion to Margaret (Peggy) Mancuso of Newton.

Carmine was raised in Revere and was a graduate of Revere High School prior to continuing his education at Northeastern University.
An honorably discharged WWII veteran, he served his country under General Patton as a combat engineer.

Carmine began his civilian career working in electronics for National Radio. He then purchased the original Pewter Pot restaurant franchise in Arlington and later owned Pewter Pot of Medford, Towne House of Arlington and Towne House of Melrose.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at noon, St. Anthony of Padua Church, 250 Revere Street, Revere. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Visitation on Monday 4-8pm at McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Avenue, Wakefield.
