Josephine Milano, 88, a lifelong Stoneham resident, died on Tuesday, June 9 at her residence.

Born in Stoneham on August 4, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Giuliano and Mary (Bartoli) Milano and the niece of the late Nina Bartoli.

Ms. Milano was a graduate of Stoneham High School, Class of 1947. She was a retired supervisor for the Ramada Hotel in Woburn.

She loved to travel, bake for the holidays, sew, was an animal lover and a caregiver. Ms. Milano was predeceased by her three brothers: Joseph Milano, Vincent Milano and Liborio Milano and her sister Tena Milano. She is survived by many nieces and nephews: Rosie, Ryan, Chris, and Kassandra Lamb of Stoneham; Mary, Tommy, Tara, Paul and Michael Moore of N.H; Vern Hoover, Jane Sulkins, Penny Evangelista, and the late Cissy Thibodeau; as well as many great nieces and nephews.

Her Funeral will be held from the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., Stoneham on Wednesday at 8:30am followed by a funeral mass in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham at 10am. Interment will be at St. Patrick's Cemetery in Stoneham.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 309 Waverley Oaks Rd, Waltham, MA 02452.

Arrangements are in the care of the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home in Stoneham.
