Kathleen M. Ickes, 71, of Wakefield died Tuesday, July 4th at Curahealth of Peabody.

Kathy was a graduate of Wakefield High School, class of 1964. Before retiring she worked in town as an administrative assistant. Liard and her husband Roy of Millville. She was the sister of Mary Simpson of Wakefield. Kathy was also the beloved grandmother of her six grandchildren; Anna Cuevas, Luke, Nathan, and Emma Ickes, Addyson and Jameson Liard.

A funeral service for Kathy will be held at the McDonald Funeral Home, 19 Yale Ave., Wakefield on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Interment, St. Patrick Cemetery, Stoneham.
