Patricia A. Silva, age 85, of Methuen formerly of Stoneham, died December 31, 2020 surrounded by family.

Born in Cambridge on March 8, 1935 she was the daughter of the late Alexander H. and Margaret (Matthews) Janko.

Patricia graduated from Sacred Heart High School in East Cambridge. She had worked many years for Polaroid, first in the battery manufacturing department and later retired from an administrative role with the company. She had been a longtime Stoneham resident, living in town for more than 40 years and she was a devoted parishioner of St. Patrick Church. Patricia enjoyed traveling with her late husband but most of all cherished her role as a grandmother and time spent with her grandchildren.

She was the beloved wife of the late Richard J. Silva. She was the loving mother to Karen Silva-Brown of Methuen. She was the beloved "Nana" of Kacy P. Cameron and Kaelyn D. Brown, both of Duxbury. She was the sister of the late Alexander H. Janko, Jr.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham on Wednesday, January 6, at 10 o'clock. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment will be at St. Patrick Cemetery in Stoneham.

Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the MSPCA.
